Description
The Utility Rope from AEV is a multi-tool for vehicle recovery. It may be used as a 10′ winch extension line, a tree saver, a rock line, a rigging bridle (ideal for AEV’s front bumper), and even to attach recovery gear to non-standard attachment places like a roll cage orb-pillar.
Because the AEV Utility Rope is designed to be used in a variety of settings, it will undoubtedly be subjected to significant damage. We made this rope out of ultra-strong and ultra-durable Dyneema® SK78 synthetic fibre with a double layer of chafe protection to defend against sharp edges and rough surfaces, so it can take everything you throw at it. AEV Rope Strap is included for easy and convenient storage.
TECH SPECS:
Please Note: The Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS) is the force required to break or fail a recovery device. The Working Load Limit (WLL) is the maximum force that a recovery device is designed to safely support when applied in-line and across the device’s centerline. The WLL is determined by multiplying the Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS) by a safety factor of around 4-to-1. The MBS of the AEV Snatch Block, for example, is 52,000 LBS, hence the WLL is 13,000 LBS when split by a safety factor of 4-to-1.
