Description

The AEV DualSport 2.5-Inch XT Suspension System was created for Jeep JK Wrangler customers who seek the increased highway and trail performance of AEV’s higher 3.5 and 4.5-inch DualSport Suspension Systems but with a lower lift height.

The new system, like AEV’s 3.5 and 4.5-inch systems, received meticulous attention to tune and geometry. Instead of merely using the same spring rates and shock valving as the higher systems, AEV went to great lengths to custom-tune coils and shocks for the new, lower system. All four corners now get new frequency-tuned triple-rate coils, as well as custom-tuned Bilstein shocks suited to the coils. AEV also tested the new system for cornering and braking and found that a new, geometry-corrected rear Track-Arm Tower would be required to achieve the level of handling that AEV suspension systems are known for.

Everything else needed to complete the bundle is included in the new system. A unique rear track arm, front stabilizer end link relocation brackets, bump-stop extensions, and brake line relocation brackets are among the items included. These components, when combined with the springs and shocks, enable AEV’s DualSport 2.5-Inch XT Suspension System to provide typical AEV on- and off-highway performance, remarkable dependability, and a lower, more user-friendly lift height.

Please notice that the Bilstein Triple C zinc plated AEV/Bilstein 5100 series shock absorbers are included in this package. To keep its shine, this finish must be maintained on a regular basis. To avoid tarnishing, a protective coating such as wax or lubricating oil should be used, especially in humid conditions. The finish is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
