The Salta XR is the next step in the progression of the Salta wheel. The Salta XR’s race-inspired 12-spoke design, like its predecessor, adds strength for ultimate longevity on and off the road, while AEV’s characteristic recessed valve stems to protect against pebbles on the trail. Because the Salta XR is a platform-specific wheel, it will have the right offset/backspacing for each application, providing the ideal mix of tyre clearance, scrub radius, and handling.

The Salta XR, like every other AEV wheel, has been rigorously tested to SAE J2530 standards and comes with a lifetime structural guarantee. Satin black and onyx finishes are available, with a subtle “SALTA XR” design laser etched on the face of each. It’s made in Italy.v
